Walking and cycling connections
Enhanced linkages to the west, with further stages of Westhaven promenade and future Auckland Harbour Bridge shared path, open up direct walking and cycling access with the North Shore.
Daldy Street green link
Completed green links between Wynyard Quarter and Victoria Park as part of the wider Transformational move 6: The Green Link connecting with Victoria Park, Victoria linear park and Albert Park.
Wynyard common
A new neighbourhood pocket park at the heart of Wynyard Quarter will provide an intimate outdoor space for residents and workers to call their own.
The park will integrate seamlessly with the Daldy Street linear park and be part of a sequence of green spaces linked by the Transformational move 6: The Green Link.
Wynyard Point open spaces
A future destination open space and parkland on the outer headland of Wynyard Point is a rare opportunity to create a large new green space for the city centre, with views of the harbour and cityscape.
Wynyard crossing
A new walking and cycling bridge for Wynyard Quarter, to replace the existing lifting bridge that is nearing the end of its life.
Te Wero and eastern Viaduct
Future waterfront public space enhancements to the Te Wero Island and Eastern Viaduct areas linking the Wynyard Quarter with Quay Street and the Viaduct Harbour.
